You can use this feature to reward customers with a specific deal if they make a purchase of selected items or let them try a specific flavor/product if they purchase those selected items.
In the following use-case we will explore a CPG brands selling bone broth that want to give a mug ☕ for free for customers that buy one of the bundles displayed on the page.
Create a Buy X get Y discount code in Shopify. Here the Shopify documentation if needed for more information.
Set the discount code to “Automatic”
Select the products or collection that are eligible for the offer. So in the above scenario i select the collection “homepage” where basically all customers that buy a product from that collection will get the gift.
Then i select which one is the product i want to give for free (the mug).
